I am an experienced English teacher of both Literature and Language, and also Classical Studies at High School level. You will find text-based resources for novels, poetry, plays and film study in my shop for Years 7 - 13. The resources are generic to the text so are suitable for any curriculum. I am also a passionate believer in effective literacy learning hence the emphasis on phonics resources in my shop.

A neat flashcard game for students who mispronounce blended sounds. Students need to match the cards based on the full beginning blend with its “opposite”, the card with the part of the blend missing. For example, plate = late; brush = rush; branch = ranch. 19 sheets (3 pairs per card), 57 colourful pairs that need to be precut for students.

(Verb, adjective, proper noun, abstract noun, noun. ) This is an excellent revision game for students to distinguish between word classes. Reverse side of the cards is included as an option should you wish to print and laminate them for a group activity : )
